Please support the Speedwell Elementary PTO by eating at El Patio Mexican Restaurant on Wednesday, September 23 from 5 to 9 PM. A portion of the sales will be donated to the Speedwell Elementary PTO. RRHS Cheer is gearing up to hold their annual youth cheer clinic on September 22,23, and 24th! Participants will be able to cheer alongside the Varsity Cheerleaders at the home game on Friday, September 25th against George Wythe! All forms and money are due back to the office by Friday, September 4th!
This is a reminder of Speedwell Elementary's Back to School Bash tomorrow, Friday, August 28th from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. If you child can no longer stay for this event please contact the school office no later than 2:00 pm on Friday. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Students should wear clothing and shoes to school the day of the event that are okay to get wet. They should also bring a towel or have the parent bring one.
Students and parents will move as a classroom group with teachers in rotations through different activities. Staff will direct you to the location of your child's group when you arrive. Please check in with your child's teacher upon joining their group.
In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made by Thursday afternoon on whether or not the event is held or postponed.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday!

Correction-Parent visitation is Thursday, August 6th.
Parents, if you haven't already done so, please call the school to schedule your time slot for your student's back-to-school visitation meeting with their teacher. Parent visitation will be on Thursday, August 6th, from 1 to 3 PM and 4:30 to 7 PM. Please be sure to complete all parent portal forms before the first day of school. We would also love to have you join us for our Parent Teacher Organization meeting on Wednesday, August 5th, at 4 PM at the school.
We can't wait to see our students and their families at our Back to School Visitation on Thursday, August 6th. Please call the school to schedule a time slot for K-5th grade students. Preschool students will be seen on a walk-in basis between 1-3 PM and 4:30-7 PM on August 6th.

Parents/guardians, due to the wet conditions, we have made the decision to move our field day inside for tomorrow, May 26. Because of this, parents and guardians will not be able to attend due to limited spacing within our building. Thank you for your understanding.
